Owl Magic at Viking Festival
For the last few years a big attraction during the Festival’s two weekends was the display of owls. Youngsters and adults are thrilled to be able to handle the birds and get photos taken with them.Owl Magic is a premier owl display company based in Ayrshire. Started in 2008, Owl Magic has now possibly got the greatest variety of owls in Scotland with 25 different species from all the Continents that have owls.
The beautiful owls are cared for and shown by the front-line team of owner David Morrison and 7 handlers plus back-ground helpers.
Over the last couple of years, Owl Magic has grown immensely to meet the demand for their unique family experience. This year alone they have added 9 babies to their owl family. All the owls are hand-reared from as early an age as possible. This helps with bonding and gives the owls a friendly nature while enjoying the company of people.

FROM FIGHTING TO FRIENDSHIP
The Festival will commemorate the 750th Anniversary of the Battle of Largs in 1263 with many events throughout 2013.
The annual Festival will be held from 31 August to 7 September 2013.
